New Law Encourages Multiyear Rate Plans

 

A new law in North Carolina encourages multiyear rate plans for jurisdictional electric utilities. The state regulatory commission just concluded a proceeding to set rules for PBR applications. PEG President Mark Newton Lowry and Senior Advisor Scott Brockett advised Duke Energy in this proceeding and submitted commentary on rules issue.
